How will I know when it's time to replace the cartridge?
You'll notice the water flow start to drop, or the filter media darken — that's your signal. On average it's every 3–6 months, depending on your water and how often you shower. Swapping it takes under a minute: unscrew, drop in a fresh cartridge, screw back on.
Will it clog or lose water pressure over time?
As the cartridge fills with what it's caught, flow can slowly ease off near the end of its life — that's simply your cue to swap the cartridge, not the whole unit. A fresh one brings full flow straight back, and the housing keeps going for years.
Do I have to remember to reorder cartridges?
No scrambling. You can reorder a fresh cartridge anytime — no lock-in — and we'll remind you when you're due, so you're never caught out. It works out to just cents a day, not another money pit.
I have a handheld, rain or detachable shower — will it still fit?
Yes. It screws onto the standard thread between your shower arm and your showerhead, so it works with fixed, handheld and rain heads. If yours is unusual, message us before you buy and we'll check — and you're covered by the 30-day guarantee either way.
Will it help my hair too, or just my skin?
Your skin is the main event — that's what it's built for. But since it's pulling the same harsh chlorine out of your water, plenty of people notice their hair feels softer and less dry too. A nice bonus, not the selling point.
Does it work on tank or bore water, or only town water?
It's designed for regular town (municipal) water — that's where the chlorine and chloramine come from. If you're on tank or bore water, yours is a different situation, so reach out first and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth it for you.
